After fifteen years in the outdoor industry, both selling high-end gear and scribbling down his frequent escapades, Dan feels he can discourse knowledgeably on many topics, from huddling under a wet tarp during a lightning storm, to fighting off a pack of drop bears with a broken trekking pole. It’s experiences such as these that make the difference between merely an enjoyable trip, and an “adventure”. With writing credits in all of Australia and New Zealand’s outdoor publications, reputable or not, plus his own three full-length books, Dan has honed his craft to perfection.
